Brian Pollock
named Ohio Athletic Conference Player of the Week
LHS grad Brian Pollock, a junior at Otterbein, has been
named as Ohio Athletic Conference Player of the Week
in men's basketball. Over the Thanksgiving weekend,
Pollock led the Cardinals in the Newport (Va.) Invitational
as the tournament's leading scorer. He totaled 29 points
and 7 rebounds against Wesley in game one. He hit 29
again with 6 treys in game two against Newport. He played
every minute of both games and also tied for the team
lead in assists and steals.
Boys Basketball Community Service Players and coaches for the London High School Red Raider JV and Varsity boys basketball teams participated in a community service project during the recent Christmas holiday season. On Saturday, December 19, the teams helped distribute Christmas gifts at the
annual H.E.L.P. House gift distribution day. In November the teams hosted Kenton Ridge in an OHSAA Foundation game. Proceeds from that game will soon be distributed to: The Food Pantry, Food Thru Faith, H.E.L.P. House, Visions of Hope, and Junior Achievement.
