Boys Cross Country Results...

Tournament performance) I am very happy for both
teams. All of the kids have worked very hard to get
to this point. Making it to the Regional Meet was a
big goal for our team, so it is very rewarding to be
moving on and to also be one of the final 64 teams left
still racing in the state. After the heartbreak the
boys suffered last year (missing Regionals by 1 single
point), the goal all season has been to get back to
this meet and finally get over that 10-year hump. The
course was a mud pit. The toughest runners are the kids
who are moving on to Regionals, not necessarily the
fastest.
* Both of the London
teams (boys and girls) have qualified for the Regional
Championships! This is the first time that both teams
have advanced since 1994!
Kevin is the first Cross Country
State Qualifier from London since 1995!
October 24, 2009 - DISTRICT
TOURNAMENT
London 4th at 107
Kevin Swartz led the way finishing in 2nd place overall
and earning individual District "Runner-up"
honors. This is the first time the boys team has qualified
to the Regional Meet since 1999! Click

Raider boys win SCOL cross country championship London 1st at 52
Kevin Swartz leads way with 3rd place finish earning
First Team All-SCOL honors with 17:33. Earning Second
Team All-SCOL honors were Paul Feltz and Fletcher Wright.

Raider boys win SCOL cross country championship London 1st at 23
The girls team was paced by Samantha Dencher in 2nd
place in 21:15 for First Team All-SCOL honors. Katie
Backovski was also First Team with her 4th place finish.
The girls team was first in the meet but was not declared
champion as only 3 complete teams finished the race;
SCOL by-laws require a 4 team finish to have a team
